Through Mason's testimony, our family has learned the importance of creating a well-balanced ecosystem on the farm. The organic foods raised and grown on our farm are nurtured without the use of pesticides, hormones or other chemical inputs. We use regenerative soil methods that cycle nutrients to feed the plants, which create more developed flavors. Keeping our soils covered with grasses and legumes feeds the microbes, holds in moisture and sequesters atmospheric carbon. In a nut shell... we nurture rich, healthy soils to produce nutrient-dense foods.
Our principal foundation for growing starts with the soil. We use the term "Cultivating Nutrition" because we are committed to providing you with the most nutrient dense, organically grown fruits and vegetables possible. Our goal is to increase biodiversity, enrich our soil, and enhance the ecosystem. We do this for one reason... to make us all healthier. We want you to feel confident that you're feeding your family nutritious food that is pesticide, herbicide, and GMO free.
Our chicken eggs are pasture raised and organically fed. The girls move frequently, giving them fresh pasture to search for bugs and the most delicious blades of grass. They also receive supplemental nutrition through dehydrated vegetables (including turmeric).
The Citrus House is Scott's pride and joy on the farm. We grow a variety of organic citrus, like meyer lemons, ruby red grapefruit, kaffir lime, sudachi, yuzu, finger limes, key lime, calamanci lime, clementine, shiranui mandarin, and buddha's hand.
The 180 Flower Farm is spread throughout the farm property. It includes multiple gardens that contain perennial flowers, annual flowers and one designated cut flowers. When in season, wrapped bouquets are available in the market. Therapeutic events and u-pick opportunities are coming soon. Follow 180 Flower Farm on Instagram for more information.
